Mission Statement

Our mission is to restore sovereignty of the people of Vancouver over matters pertaining to Vancouver.

During the first fifty years of American history, the pervasive understanding was that the people are sovereign.

Since then, corporations have used lawyers to wrest that power from the people.  Now towns are told, "You can't do that because you don't have the authority to do it.  This is regulated by Federal Law."

The first sentence of the Washington State Constitution says "All political power is inherent in the people."  We will challenge corporations to say their rights exceed ours and that our vote doesn't count."

The first matter we will address is the plan to ship 3000 rail cars full of coal through the Gorge for export to China.
